Who These Bind

These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, sends an inquiry, or books time with me. Using the site means you accept them.

Throughout this page, I means Mistress Mahara, trading as The Taboo Temple. You means the person reading it.

Adults Only

You must be eighteen years of age or older to use this site, to send an inquiry, or to book anything. The inquiry form asks you to confirm it, and that confirmation forms part of this agreement.

If I have reason to believe you are under eighteen, I will end contact and delete your record.

The Nature Of This Work

Any inquiry that treats a fee as payment for sex is declined, and the sender is not contacted.

This Is Not Therapy

I trained and practiced as a licensed mental health therapist. That training informs this work. It does not make this work therapy.

No clinical relationship is formed here. Nothing I offer is medical advice, psychological diagnosis, or treatment, and none of it replaces care from a licensed provider. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis line rather than me.

You remain responsible for your own care. I may decline to work with you, or pause our work, if I believe you need clinical support that I am not here to provide.

Inquiry And Consult

Sending an inquiry does not book anything and does not oblige either of us. I read every inquiry myself and I reply only to the ones that are a fit.

If it is a fit, the next step is a paid consultation of one hour. The consultation fee is listed on the offerings pages and is payable before we meet.

I reserve the right to decline any inquiry or booking, at any point, without giving a reason.

Payment

• Nothing is paid on this website. No card form and no checkout exists here. Every fee is arranged directly with me after we have spoken.
• Current fees live on the offering pages. A fee quoted to you in writing holds for that booking.
• A deposit secures your time. Where a deposit applies, it is stated on the offering page, and it is not refundable.
• The balance is due before we meet, unless I have agreed something different with you in writing.
• Travel, accommodation and expenses are yours to cover on any booking that requires me to travel.

Changing Or Canceling A Booking

• More than forty eight hours out. Tell me and we move your time once, at no extra cost.
• Inside forty eight hours. Your deposit is kept. The rest can be applied to a new date at my discretion.
• You do not arrive. The full fee is kept and the booking is closed.
• I have to cancel. You choose a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit, or a new date that suits you.

Life happens to both of us. Talk to me early and I will meet you where I can.

Conduct

The conduct policy sits on its own page and forms part of these terms. Read it at Consent and Conduct.

I may end a session immediately, with no refund, if you breach it. That includes arriving impaired, ignoring a stated limit, recording without permission, or behaving in a way that makes the space unsafe.

Discretion, Both Ways

What you bring me stays with me. The privacy policy explains exactly how, at Privacy.

You owe me the same. Do not photograph, film or record any part of our work without my written permission. Do not share my private contact details, my location, or anything I tell you in confidence. Do not identify other clients if you ever encounter one.

No Promised Outcome

This work can be profound. It is not a guarantee. I cannot promise a particular feeling, a particular result, a healed wound, or a changed relationship.

What you get out of it depends on what you bring to it, and that part is yours.

Your Own Risk

Physical practice carries physical risk. You take part voluntarily and you accept that risk. Tell me about any medical condition, injury, medication or limitation before we begin, and tell me the moment something changes during a session.

To the fullest extent the law allows, my liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.

This Website

The writing, photography and design on this site are mine. Do not copy, republish or reuse them without my written permission.

I keep the site accurate, but I do not warrant that every page is free of error or available at every moment.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute belongs in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest of them still stand.

Changes To These Terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published on the day you booked.
